A Service Cycle can include a set of Service Types which fall into a specified pattern. For example, the Service Cycle of 'Tachograph' can include three Service Types:

1. 'Tacho Check',
2. 'Tacho Check', and
3. 'Tacho Inspection'

 

By locating these Service Types within the Cycle in the above order they are defined as being related to each other in a pattern of 1,2,3,1,2,3,etc.

 

Other Services that apply to the vehicle, but independently of the Tachograph events, could be located in other Service Cycles.
