Finding the Part to Purchase

  1. Specify your 'Locate by' preference - this is defaulted to 'Part Number' but can be amended to 'User Part Number', 'Description' or 'Supplier Part Number'.

 

  1. Enter the value you are locating by in the find box.  This is usually used with the 'Locate by' set to 'Part Number' or 'User Part Number' when the number is known and can be quickly entered to find the part.

 

OR

 

  1. Enter the value you are filtering by in filter box.  When using the filter AND is used to look up parts that have all the specified words, while OR looks up parts that have any of the specified words.  The filter option is usually used with the 'Locate by' set to 'Description' to find any parts that contain descriptions matching the words supplied.
