The details of an asset can be viewed in the asset detail form which can be accessed from Fleet/Asset Detail, or by double-click of an item in the asset list grid.
There are three sections to the form:
Firstly, a button bar including:
'Edit', 'Save' and 'Cancel' buttons: To make any changes to an asset the form must be placed in 'Edit' Mode after which the changes can be 'Saved' or 'Cancelled'.
'Help'.
'Add Jobcard' for this asset.
'Schedule' for this asset.
'Exit' form.
Secondly, a navigation section which allows the user to move from one asset to another.
Finally, a set of sections representing different details for each asset:
Vehicle: Basic information on the asset including details such as Fleet Number and Registration Number. This section represents the principle asset data and primary consideration should be given to maintaining this information.
Technical: Key technical data.
Groups: Asset membership of user-defined groups for specified dates.
Financial: Purchase, Sale and Depreciation information.
Notes: Dated notes and general note sections.
Tyres: Data on tyres.
Links: Asset links and children information.
Custom: Custom integer, date and string fields can be defined for the asset.
Jobcards: All jobcards for the asset.
Service: Information about all service transactions for the asset.
Defects: Defect records for the asset.
Parts: All parts for the asset.
Labour: All labour for the asset.
Imported: Fuel import records for the asset.
Usage: Usage (miles/kilometres/hours) records for the asset.
Consumption: Consumption records for the asset.
Barcodes: Barcode Manager and record of barcodes printed for the asset.
