The Purchase Process should be used to manage ad-hoc purchase of 'non-stock' items or for the purchase of stock items for specific requirements.
The Replenishment Process can be used to automate Purchase Order generation for 'stock' items. Freeway will generate 'Proposal' orders for any parts that are below minimum and are marked as 'automatically replenish'.
