Stores

Multiple stores can be defined. Processes and quantities are then managed in relation to these specific stores. For example quantities of parts may be purchased for, received into, issued from, adjusted into, or disposed from, specific stores. Transfers can be from one store to another.

Parts linked to store

Before a part can be used at a particular store it must be defined at that store, specifically it must be given:

By default

Each user can be assigned to a specific store so that by default they will be working at that store when performing daily operations such as ordering, receiving, and issuing. This is set in the User Manager by the system administrator.

Working beyond the default store

Where necessary (and security enabled) it is possible to over-ride the default setting so that it is, for example, possible to order for a store that is not the default store.

Seeing more than the default store

For the most part users will not wish to see stores details beyond their default store. Most users will prefer to work with their home store 'ONLY' - but it is possible under user-settings to see home store 'PLUS' and then see all store details. To hide or view information beyond your own store go to File/User Settings:

See all stores

The system tray will display that you view your store PLUS all others

To only see your store only

The system tray will display that you view your store ONLY
