Freeway is a multi-workshop system.

 

Assets are linked to individual workshops.

 

Services are carried out at Workshops. By default services are carried out at the workshop to which the asset is linked. Service items can be pre-defined as workshop specific (in which case they over-ride the asset setting). This is useful in situations where specific services requiring specialist equipment (such as smoke-emmission test) can only be carried out at specific locations.

 

Defects are also managed by Workshop. By default defects are assigned to the workshop of the assets 'home' workshop.

 

Workshops can be further divided into Bays (refer to the Bays module).
